This Privacy Policy is effective from 22nd August 2022.
Rivan Sports Info and our affiliates are committed to protection and management of personally identifiable information shared with us. In this Privacy Policy, we describe the information we collect about the users, how we use the information, disclose and transfer the personal information of users through its websites and applications, mobile applications and online services on the platform. This policy applied to all those who visit the Platform, use the information, or receive services. This applies to all the visitors of the website or Platform who visit, or Rivan Sports Info otherwise receives in connection with its services.
COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal Information’ means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person including that may be used to readily identify a person or contact such as name, father’s name, guardian name, date of birth, address, gender, etc. We collect the information about users and subscribers to provide better services and service offerings.
We collect information of a player or athlete, or any user or subscriber or buys sports equipment, apparel or accessories, etc.
Players
We collect the following information with respect to a Player –
Name, father’s/ Guardian Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Location, Village/Town/City, Contact Number, Email Id, Preferred Sport, when the user or subscriber creates user id for sign up on the Platform
Information that we usually collect on the Platform include Date of Birth Certificate as Proof of age, data relating to list of tournaments in which the user participated or have accomplishments, if any,
Children
To use the Platform, the user shall have a minimum age of majority as per Indian Laws or older. Certain jurisdictions may require higher minimum age than majority to be treated as lawful user and in such case, minimum age shall be the higher age as specified in those jurisdictions. Though, the minimum age does not prevent a person to get registered as user on the Platform, but he/she must use the Platform under the supervision of Parent or legal guardian. It is construed that the Parent or Legal Guardian shall be the Contracting Party or User for all practical purposes if the user registered is under the minimum age requirement.
Teams
We collect the following information with respect to Teams –
· Name of the Team, whether belonging to any School, College, Sports Club
· Name of Coach
· Preferred Sport
· Names of Players, Father’s Name, Guardian Name of Players, Date of Birth, Address
· Accomplishments of the Team, if any
· Previous representation in Events and Tournaments
We have the following types of Service Providers to meet the needs of Players and Teams –
· PETs/ Coaches / Trainers / Mentors
· Referees or Umpires
· Sports Physios
· Sports Doctors
· Nutritionists
· Sports Analysts
· Courts, Playgrounds, Swimming Pools or Stadia
· Sports Equipment, Accessories and Apparel Suppliers
General Information that we collect from all users include the following –
· Information that we collect also includes services that the subscribers use and how to use them, user log information and location of user
· Use of the Platform to communicate with other users such as coaches, Third Party Sports Equipment Suppliers, Physios.
· When a user uses a device to access the Platform, we collect technical or other related information from the device as well as device location
· We may record and monitor your communications with us or with third parties when using the portal to ensure compliance with legal or regulatory requirements or compliance with our internal policies.
BACKGROUND VERIFICATION
The user or subscriber acknowledge and agree that as part of on-boarding process, the company, or an entity or agency appointed or nominated by the Company [background verifier], may undertake background verification checks in order to authenticate the genuineness and competency of information provided on the platforms, if need be. The user or subscriber expressly consents and acknowledges in this regard to the following –
The user or subscriber shall not have any objection to Rivan Sports Info sharing their Personal Information and documents, including but not limited to, Name, Gender, Age, Address, Mobile Number, Email Id, PAN, Adhaar, etc. [collectively called as ‘proprietary information’] with background verifier for the purpose of background checks or verification.
The user or subscriber acknowledge and agree that the Company and the background verifier to securely store Proprietary Information on the Company Platform or that of the background verifier that is accessible to Rivan Sports Info and such information is always available to it. The user or subscribe acknowledges that the company makes endeavours to keep the information confidential.
The Service Provider acknowledges and agree that Rivan Sports Info reserves the right to take such action as may be appropriate pursuant to the outcome of the background checks or verification by the background verifier and it is at the sole discretion of the Company.
HOW WE USE THE PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use the personal information collected in a fair and reasonable manner, aggregate the information about the use of our Platform or services to better understand the needs of the users and to provide better user experience.
Use of this personal information depends on the purpose for which the users interact or communicate with us. We use the personal information specifically for any of the following reasons -
· To provide our services for verifying and authenticating the users to register, access or use of our services
· To aggregate and combine the information
· To provide our services and products to users including to send alerts on Events and Tournaments, Coaches available in a particular location, and other relevant search results
· For providing User Support and respond to queries
· For Internal Record Keeping purposes
· For improving user experience, Platform and its content to provide better features and services
· For sending information to the users about our products and services for promotions and marketing purposes.
· For conducting any market research or for surveys to improve services including the customisation of our website or Mobile Applications
· To share information requested by the users through Email, Text Message
· For comparing demographic information such as age, gender, address, postal code for offering products or services to appropriate target audience
· For identity verification, background checks, for dispute resolution, to protect users of this Platform, enforce terms and Conditions of Use of this Platform and for protecting ourselves for establishing, exercising or defending in connection with any legal proceedings and for seeking legal or professional advice in relation thereto.
· For Preventing or detecting or investigating any suspected fraud, illegal activities, or any criminal or financial crimes and for identifying users violating Terms and Conditions of Use Policy to deny access or use of our services or of Third-Party affiliates
· For processing and sending receipts against payments, invoices, Third Party Products and Services, including sharing with Third Party Payment Gateways in connection with our Platform, Website or Mobile Application Products or Services
CONSENT FOR COLLECTING, PROCESSING, RETENTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
User Personal Information collected and processed by Rivan Sports Info based on the following grounds depending upon the nature and relevance of Personal Information and the purpose for which it is processed.
It is deemed that the user consents to collect and process the Personal Information provided on the Platform. In special circumstances, users may have to give their consent under applicable laws including data protection laws and accordingly Rivan Sports Info seeks consent at the time of collection before processing.
Rivan Sports Info retains the Personal Information collected for the period it is required for the purpose for which is collected. It will not retain the information longer than necessary to comply with or in accordance with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements or obligations, as may be applicable. After the expiry of the period necessary, User Personal Information will be deleted or archived.
EDITING, UPDATING, CORRECTING AND DELETING PERSONAL INFORMATION
It is the responsibility of the users to keep their Personal Information up-to-date and accurate. The users may choose to edit or update or correct or delete Personal Information at any time. Users can choose the edit or update or correct their Personal Information to keep it up-to-date by Signing into the Portal by using ‘Edit/Update’ option. Similarly, user may delete their account after signing-in to the Portal and by using ‘Delete’ option. If for any reason an user or subscribe is unable to Delete his/her account, the user may send an e-mail to ‘privacy@winkitsports.com’. However, Personal Information provided on the Platform may be retained even for closed or deleted user accounts in order to comply with any law, resolve any dispute, legal proceeding or to assist regulatory and investigating agencies. Once a user account is deleted by the user or we suspend access to the user, user agrees that Rivan Sports Info shall not be responsible for any Personal Information remaining on our Website or Platform.
OPT-OUT ON USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may send Promotional or Information Text Messages or Emails to the users. Users may choose to Opt-Out of such communications by following Opt-Out instructions provided in the e-Mail or Text Message. We may, however, send recommendations or information text messages or emails even when a user requests for opt-out, only when the company that it is of use or may interest you. Users agree and consent that it takes 7-10 working days to process the opt-out requests.
USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA NETWORKS
Rivan Sports Info may open, operate Social Media Network Channels or Pages or accounts to Promote or Engage with customers and we monitor the activity on these Social Media Platforms including the comments, posts made on these platforms. The users, however, shall not use these Platforms for postings or comments that may be inappropriate, derogatory, offensive or defamatory, illegal or that are against an individual, gender or ethnic group or the interest of Nation, any State, Religion, Caste or Creed or that is against general public interest or national security.
THIRD PARTY CONTENT:
Our Platform may contain links to Other sites that are not governed by this Privacy Policy and the terms of use, use of cookies and the Privacy Policy are governed by the Third Party Website or Platform. The Users shall exercise discretion while accessing or using these other sites as Rivan Sports Info makes no representation or warranty regarding how user information is stored or used by these third parties or third-party sites and servers.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
We strictly abide by the Confidentiality and Security of User’s Personally Identifiable Information. When using the services of Third Parties such as Developers, external service providers, background verifiers, etc, we ensure that they adhere to the same set of standards as are followed by Rivan Sports Info. To meet security and confidentiality of the information collected and to comply with all the requirements of Data Protections Laws or Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Rules and Regulations made thereunder, we have built in physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to ensure the protection and preservation of user Privacy. It is deemed that by accessing our Platform or Website as a user, you hereby agree that the standards and procedures implemented by Rivan Sports Info are reasonable and sufficient for protection of personal information are reasonable and sufficient. However, where a user identifies that his/her user account password is compromised and is unable to edit or delete the user account, he/she may write to us at privacy@winkitsports.com

a. Service Providers: Our Service Providers on the Platform such as PETs or Coaches or Trainers or Mentors, Referees or Umpires, Sports Physios, Sports Doctors, Nutritionists, Sports Analysts, Equipment Suppliers, Courts, Swimming Pools and Playgrounds or Stadia to match their requirements.
b. Third Party Service Providers and Business Partners: Our Third Party Service Providers or Advertisers or Market Researchers or Business Partners may require Personal Information and we share the information to the extent they require for internal business, administrative and general purpose only for their business operations or for offering their products or services or for providing their services.
c. Enforcement Agencies: We may disclose or share Personal Information of users, where such disclosure is required by any law or in a legal proceeding before enforcement or regulatory agencies and judicial authorities, to help investigation or prevent illegal activities or unauthorised transactions.
d. Corporate Restructuring: We may disclose or share the data or information in the event of any Corporate Restructuring by way of Merger, Acquisition or Business Transfer of all or portion of assets of Rivan Sports Info as part of terms of any negotiation or for obtaining any financing.
e. At the request of Users: We may disclose or share the Personal Information with other Registered Users if a specific request is received from the user for obtaining specific services or products.

We hereby confirm that, though, we exercise control over the Cloud Services, there is no guarantee that the Service Provider access the information and use it without our knowledge, whether for sharing the information within or outside India.
We do not provide or share the Personal Information to advertisers when you view or click a link on our Platform, it is deemed that the viewing or clicking has the impact of your participation in the target group to promote their products or services and accordingly the advertisers may collect certain Personal Information in the process.
MODIFICATIONS OR CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy is current and up to date as the effective set forth above. Rivan Sports Info reserves the right to update, change or modify this Privacy Policy at its discretion at any time and it shall come into effect from the date of posting or publication of such changes or modifications on the Platform. Users are requested and encouraged and are expected to review the Privacy Policy for any such modification or change and understand to take an informed decision on the use of this Platform.
